Dr. Lourenco Miranda is Head of Sustainability at Nexent Bank in Amsterdam, where he leads the integration of sustainability and finance across regulatory, risk, and reporting functions. With more than 20 years of international experience in ESG, sustainability, and risk management, he has held senior roles at Société Générale, AIG, IFC/World Bank Group, U.S. Bancorp, and EisnerAmper, advising global financial institutions, corporates, and investors. Dr. Miranda also has held teaching and research positions in various academic centers in the world. He holds a PhD in Statistical Physics applied to Finance and is a frequent speaker at international conferences on sustainability, risk, and regulatory compliance.
