
Robert Hannigan
Chairman, BlueVoyant International; Former Director GCHQ, BlueVoyant
As a leading authority in cyber security, Robert Hannigan currently serves as the Chairman of BlueVoyant International. He was previously the director of GCHQ, the UK’s largest intelligence and security agency. During his time there, he led the creation of the UK’s National Cybersecurity Centre and oversaw the UK’s pioneering Active Cyber Defense program.
During his 20 years of public service, he served as the Prime Minister’s Security Adviser and was the principal Adviser to Prime Minister Tony Blair on the Northern Ireland Peace Process. He was awarded the US Intelligence Distinguished Public Service Medal in 2017 and honored by Queen Elizabeth for services to UK national security in 2013.
