Pierre Shepherd manages the Westminster-based Policy Liaison Group on ESG, working with parliamentarians, government officials and sustainable finance leaders on sustainability policy, ESG standards and regulation. He began his career in Brussels at the European Commission, later representing the non-ferrous metals industry on sustainability, trade and transport policy before moving into sustainability communications and research. He also oversees the Policy Liaison Group on Workplace Wellbeing as part of his social ESG portfolio. As Head of Policy and Engagement, Pierre has authored numerous publications, including parliamentary reports on the UK Green Taxonomy and gender equality.
