Claire is responsible for guiding Schroders’ global sustainable investment proposition, working with investment teams to enhance the firm’s integrated, sustainable and impact strategies, delivering thought leadership, and engaging clients to develop bespoke investment solutions.

Claire recently relocated from Singapore where she was responsible for building Schroders’ Asia Pacific sustainability strategy, driving sustainable investment solutions and partnerships with asset owners and distribution partners.

Prior to this, Claire worked as an Associate Sustainable Investment Director in London.

Claire first joined Schroders in 2016 as a Trade Specialist.

Risto Schmid
Head of Climate Resilience
Zurich Insurance

Risto holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich).

He joined Zurich Resilience Solutions in 2017. Before specializing in natural hazards and climate change, Risto worked as a specialist in fire damage to property and business interruption, which gives him a holistic view and a solid understanding of the overall risk from an insurance perspective.

Highlights include conducting various on-site climate change risk analyses and developing associated site-specific financial loss scenarios, which are essential for clients’ regulatory CSRD disclosures.
